The problem

Care is a coordination problem of extraordinary stakes — people, equipment, time and information, all needing to be in the right place at the right moment.

The hardest requirement is the least visible one — capture metadata has to be recorded at the moment of capture, because the conditions a scan was taken under cannot be reconstructed afterwards at any price.

Octavire is the platform the capture apps deliver into: ingest, reconstruction, a library that survives, a viewer that runs anywhere, and access control fine-grained enough that a scan belongs to exactly the people it should.
