The partner sign-in on this site runs on row-level authorisation and an append-only audit trail.

Row-level authorisation, multi-factor authentication, device approval, improbable-travel locking and an append-only audit trail.

The problem

The frontier is not raw capability. It is accountability.

For every action: what was proposed, what was known at the time, which policy permitted it, who released it, and how to undo it.

An explanation produced after the fact is a story; a record written as it happened is evidence.

What was built

Row-level authorisation, multi-factor authentication, device approval, improbable-travel locking and an append-only audit trail.

Authorisation is enforced at the row so that a compromised front end cannot read what it should not. Devices are approved rather than trusted. A session that appears in two implausible places at once is locked rather than logged. Everything consequential is appended to a trail that cannot be edited afterwards.

  • Authorisation enforced at the row, not the interface
  • Devices approved rather than trusted
  • Append-only audit trail
